ParticipantHi There, I am looking for a wiring diagram or fault diagnostic info for the above washing machine. The machine had trouble spinning fast and would work intermittently however today the drum stop spinning at all evening i wash mode! I believe the fault is the control switch which if is correct will render the machine to the scrap yard given the cost of the switches. I am planning to take a second look at the weekend, i have so far checked all of the obvious stuff but will be looking at the switch in more detail with the meter. Any available info would be appreiciated. cheers revit

Rule #8 applies.
The first thing to check is the motor brushes. 😉

Don’t be tempted to buy another, think months rather than years. :rolls:

OK guys had a look at the brushes took em out and cleaned them up! the motor is now working again although the high speed spin seems to work some times and not others. I have order new brushes anyway for a tenner from ebay as they looked very low. Will change em and see what happens!
Cheers for your help! Will post an update as and when brushes installed.

I would strongly advise that you do not run the machine with worn brushes, if it arcs across the comm it could take out the PCB.

Why bother with fleabay, the Shop@ on this very site would almost certainly have the correct brushes, a good chance they would be cheaper too. 😉

All sorted so far so good, although the machine now sounds a bit thrashy at certain rpm’s but apart from that seems to be flying ok with the new brushes.
I assume the bearings are worn as well hence why it is a little nosiy.
Thanks for your help
