Hi, I have an indesit wg1432 washing machine that makes a terrible noise whilst spinning. I think this is a bearing problem and I would like to fix it. How could I take the bearings out, and what would be the cost of the bearings ? Thankyou any help you could give would be appreciated..

The bearing spider has to be removed, the old bearings removed and then reassembled. 2 bearings and water seal (Part No’s C0082696, C0044765 and C0013563) will set you back around £25 – £30. (Available via spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk )

You can remove the drum support easily enough – 8 Torx bolts. The real problem is getting the pulley off – the bolt can be a real swine to get off.
