    Hi

This is my first post as I have a problem with my indesit machine which
is probably 8 or 9 years old I think.

It leaves the clothes wet at the end of a cycle and when asked to spin just
cycles at a slightly higher spin speed than a normal wash speed.
It doesnt change direction or build up speed.

I have checked the brushes, drain pump and any for any blockages etc
    It drains fine.

Can someone point me in the right direction -its still a good machine imho
but I am reluctant to spend too much on it…..heres hoping its something simple!

    Thanks in advance

    Tony

Hi , it sounds to me like a main control module fault (the brains) it’s prob not worth it i would guess about £80-£120 which im not sure if i would spend on a machine of that age…. Hope this can help

    Thanks for your reply.

I have noticed now that the machine will spin ok if the selector is turned to spin only ie position 7.

However if a full program cycle is selected the machine washes ok but as soon as it clicks round to the spin part it just sits trying to ramp up etc and leaves the clothes wet.

Is this likely to be the program selector thingy or the main brain of the machine at fault?

As it is the machine is sort of useable but having to manually spin all the time is a pain”

    Thanks in advance

    Tony
