    Can anybody tell me what the colours on resistor R19 on a remco 5520-1000 rpm module are. It also says Remco 5525 at the bottom of the label.
    Machine was fitted leaning backwards and tacho wiring rubbed through on rear panel and burnt out resistor, so now spins on wash.

    Looks like red, brown, brown, yellow, purple, red to me, Simon. Maybe change the triac as well ……

    Thanks Chris. Cannot find another module in my scrap box with this resistor on it and cannot work out which way round the colour code runs . Will quote cust for new module.

    Si,
    Get a recon from EMW or QER – probably save you a few bob; and you still get a guarantee – check in Directories.

    When they’re £8.75 + vat trade at Electrue, why mess about? Cheaper then recon.

    I thought recon was dear at 19.95. Its got to be the most simple of all the indesit modules. Will buy new then no question marks.
