Not sure how to deal with this, really. If you have power to the motor (who did live testing? Naughty…..) something should happen. If not, carbon brushes may be worn out; motor safety TOC may have failed; or the motor may simply not wish to play anymore.
The single, commonest problem with these is that a track on the edge connector of the motor speed control board (module – mentioned earlier) burns out. A simple solder repair sorts it out.
Now, if you don’t feel confident, click the link below for a UKW engineer in your area. If you’re going to have a look, power off and make a diagram before removing any connectors.
