I went to an Indesit WI101. After 5 mins on wash, it suddenly starts the old click click click marlarky with the program selecter dial and starts pumping and filling simultaneously (or as some would say, “at the same time”)
It’s definitely not the PCB, or Pressure switch – it’s the ……?
I got an “F3” last error recorded with me dongle thingy.
Re: Indesit WI101 simultaneously pumps and fills after 5 min
Hi Chris
Some other guy fitted the PCB and Pressure switch. I got the F03 error code from me test dongle. I was puzzled by the simultaneous pump and fill which I’ve not seen before. Any ideas why a simple NTC fault would trigger such behaviour?
Re: Indesit WI101 simultaneously pumps and fills after 5 min
Just a guess here but if the machine sees a reading on the NTC which is out of its normal range it does not know if the machine is full of boiling hot water. So it runs the pump and cold valve to flush the hot water out.
They all do this so it looks like it was designed to do it that way. ❓

Wow, they are getting more and more sophisticated aren’t they? To think of all the years when they just boiled, stuck full of water, leaped accross the kitchen etc – happy days 😉
