Even with the rotary switch to off. The top left green LED with a wash symbol next to it is flashing. If I press the red top right button (Start/pause) the wash cycle starts. No way to turn it of. I’ve unplugged it put it ocurrs again when It’s plugged in.
Seems to right itself for a day now it’s done it again.
7 months Currys guarantee left. so I’ll ring them tomorrow.
Does anyone have an idea as to what’s wrong.

It is very tempting to tell you the brutal truth 😥 , lets just say the electronics on these machines are very prone to failure.

Oh dear, can I still pay Currys for a 3 year warranty?
And to think I bought Indesit because (I thought) it was a good make. 😳 No ones electronics should fail so early these days.

Most people buy Indesit because they are cheap, they are rarely disappointed in that respect, until they find out the cost of the spare parts. :rolls:

Just type Indesit/Hotpoint/Ariston in the search facility, select Washing Machine/Dryers forum have a read and then as they say on Crimewatch, “don’t have nightmares” 😉

    Or read these articles.
