indesit wia101 spin problem

hi hoping for help
having probs with the spin on machine it stops at the spin cycle on the program and then unlocks door with clothes still wringing wet it has already drained but no spin
also it will spin when spin is selected manually also other programs seem to be all over the place ie. when drain is selected it goes into spin straight away and other programes which usualy take about an hour seem to be finished in about 10 mins
starting to thing it is the control board is at fault but dont know what can be done or if it is even worth replacing or is it just a case of getting a new machine
if a new machine is the best option would u have any idea which machine is the best buy
any input on this prob would be brilliant

The electronics on these are known to be a source of constant problems and if the main pcb is at fault it is not really worth changing.

If you have a meggar or suitable multimeter then it may be worth testing all components, especially the heater and motor for insulation faults, check all the wiring connections and make sure the pump filter is clean. Be sure to remove the mains plug first of course.

It depends on your budget, but if you intend to spend £300 or less then don’t expect it to last very long.

Hi

I would go for the Bosch range, if budget won’t quite stretch take a look at the Gorenje machines which are good value, they also come with a two year warranty as well.
