    help please if you can ,

    have an Indesit W1A111(uk) 4642740000 serial no 608310494 …

    the customer reported that it blew the inlet hose twice after replacement ( 1.5 bar rated hoses).!….when i attended machine it was full of water.

    I cannot reset program, switching it off does not work or does turning the dial to the top off position!..i have tried to hold down the start/pause button to attempt to reset program but still does not move off its program and is stuck on the wash light and program.

    Insulation is 12.6 megs

    Checked manual, it indicates to turn dial to off postion to reset.

    AM I DOING SOMETHING WRONG?..or is it as i suspect a fault on the PCB

    I have one the same mate. Emw list it as a common pcb fault

    cheers m8……do you know if they are avaliable configured , or do i need the dreaded software only avaliable to indesit engineers?

    you can purchase a card reader/programmer from connect etc ..

    it plugs into new module > then you insert smart card which is supposed to prog new module .. smart card is a one shot so if pcb doesnt prog for some reason … its another new smart card …

    what a total rip……

    think ive read somewhere that emw do configured pcb,s …

    I puchased a smart card reader, before i found out EMW do them ready configured…….
    So far havent used the reader! 😉

    unfortuntely, a smart card reader isnt enough to reprogram these

    u need a low end adapter with it

    however that pcb does still have an available eprom, it still doesnt come with one

    emw is the best option, every time
