customer reports and i’ve seen this w/m shake and bounce out of position.
the machine is fine on all washes but at the end of the wash programme
after a normal spin sequence it goes into 3 high speed spins for about 30 seconds each. it starts spinning from a stop and goes straight to high speed. it shakes the drawer out and moves forward about 2 inches and makes a hell of a racket . i asssume that because these 3 high spins arn’t gradual the load is not spread…module problem?
thanks
richard
I’ve got one doing exactly the same thing – I’ve changed the 100N shock absorbers and made sure it’s level, but it’s still dancing around on that fast spin!
hi, no result on this one….HOWEVER…i delivered and installed a brand new HOOVER..bolts out, test run all ok…
a couple of days later they complained that the machine was
shaking itself to bits and dancing out of its place. we check that we had done everything that Hoover decreed.. they sent an engineer out and changed the motor..ALL IS WELL!!!
Oh, well.
I’ll change the top springs as well, then, in case they’ve weakened in some way, but I’m not expecting great results.
I’m going to have to sit through a wash cycle, so I can see what it does at the end for myself, I think.
