Indesit WIB111 – initial fill then nothing – no error codes

I’m after some advice in what to check: Indesit WIB111 will do an initial fill but will not progress to the rest of the cycle. Wash light stays on, no flashing lights at all. It will empty if the programmer is set to the drain position after resetting.

Hopefully a simple fix otherwise it’s going to the tip in a couple of days!

Check motor carbon brushes and wiring connections first.

Hi, wiring all seems OK, brushes also look fine.

It’s on ‘a well known auction site’ now for spares or repair, if no bidders it goes to the dump at the weekend…

I won’t be bidding for your machine but instead just betting that the motor brushes are at fault here.

Well if it’s the brushes then it will be a bargain for someone 🙂 We needed a working machine quickly so have now bought a replacement.
