happy new year everyone.
over the phone the customer claims the machine is filling draining etc but is not rotating. i’ve asked her if it is flashing an error code but she says no. it to her is working through cycle without turning.
can i have a clue why this could be without an error code.

Surely it’s most likely the brushes? These don’t usually give an error code on Indesits.

As I recall it’s the Welling motors on these machines so make sure you have the right brushes. Otherwise Europart have an entire new motor for £5 if you don’t fancy messing around with a comm stick :wink:.

Well there’s nothing wrong with it then….. Bear in mind it’s an Indesit and, by definition, you simply put the washing IN and DE just SIT there….!!!! 😈

Its has an Arcadia module unlike most of the other machines when the brushes wear and the door locks but wont fill, these machines will fill and drain but wont do anything else when the brushes wear, i woud guess at brushes or belt.

cheers jonny. you see thats what was confusing me because i expected locked door then nowt. also the belt is definately on.
its just that i’ve shed loads of outstanding calls and was wanting to sort out the awkward ones to fit in the normal jobs.
