It could be? And you can’t rule out the main Module board either at this stage. 😥

is there a way of testing the stat?appears to b a wire running from stat to a connector block which is open circuit is this the thermal fuse wire?

Re: indesit widl 126 dryer fault

Rear duct full of fluff, fan full of fluff, fan motor not running, no cold water condenser feed and earth leakage on element can all cause the thermal fuse to fail; as can stopping it and opening the door before it finishes.

Re: indesit widl 126 dryer fault

    theyre all common

    its an indesit after all

just generally check for fluff blockages and/or things not functioning

condenser blocked is probably on the money.. but id get someone in, i once cut myself real bad getting one of those out, theres a LOT of sharp edges in there, and takes some experience getting it out

and i wouldnt be surprised if you fitted the fuse and it worked ok

keep us in a job, merloni!

    hope this helps

UNPLUG if u want to investigate, and wear thick, protective gloves
