Indesit WIDL 126 UK

Hi i had a look at an Indesit WIDL 126 UK which appears to be working but the door light flashs when the door is not locked (before and after washs). My customer looked in the instructions under troubleshooting which told her to call out an engineer. I have checked all the things i normally check on these but cant find a reason for it, has anyone had this before? these Indesits r frustrating arn’t they all these intermittant faults + not understanding customers = :haier: thanks for any help 🙂

The best way to check fukcionality of this machine is by means of tester
Housing Seriale EVOII,Indesit order number is C00145046.

does the light flash with the program selector knob in the off position . if so this is quiet common and requires the module replacing . have been to many of these with that fault , reprogramed eeprom and still the same so the only cure is the module im afraid

latest diagnose key?
C00095669 can be used also thrue computer by program LBSat
Which I couldn’t order key from merloni but I have seen it working. If someone can order for me I’m interested.

The hardware key on its own doesn’t give much more information than the flashing light or digital display error codes. At well over £100 and reported to be rather delicate it seems like a complete waste of money when Indesit refuse to allow you access to the software required to run the diagnositics or reprogram eeproms.

And believe me is stupidity blocking this (availability) 😕 because if you want you can use any EPROM programmer in order to rewrite memory’s 😈 . But question is why in this manner? when you can make more easily with proper one? 😉

For example the alarm lights gives you one direction to seek, but nothing forward… with diagnose key and computer you can command any peripheral (motor, valve, pump), see the statistics (which program or optional taste was used; history of errors…) and ,if you need, also one quick memory rewriting. :tup:
So in conclusion you can manage more easily one repair (more starting information= quickly and precision repair).

It would be very useful to have this information as you say Baron, its just a pity the machines are so poorly constructed that half the time it is not worth the effort. 👿
