Hi all, my indesit widl126 washer dryer has just given up the ghost and I’m looking for help getting it working if possible.
No flashing error lights that I can see, only symptom is that it will not start a cycle.
Door interlock is fine, I’ve tested it for continuity and the circuit is made when the door is locked. Door locks as expected.
When I try and start a cycle the door will lock but the cycle does not start and the door lock light does not come on.
Someone has said it will be the brushes, is that a fair diagnosis?

Thanks for the reply. Is there a way to check the brushes without buying new ones? I.e. length of the remaining carbon etc?

Yes, by removing them from the motor.
