ParticipantWent to this one today. Switch on to any wash programme and it starts to fill then pump runs intermitantly. After about 30 seconds red light flashes and continues pumping. Unable to reset programme unless socket unpluged. Spin programme works fine and can reset. All componants checked and readings seem about right. Insulation resistance on thermistor 140 megs but i can`t see that this would be a problem. Have i missed something or is this likely to be a pcb problem?
Thanks

Sounds like a dodgy p/sw to me.

Thanks Chris. That was my initial thought, but it seemed to be switching ok with my test hose connected.

Don’t forget terminal 4 is flood protection. For £8, I’d take a punt and swap it – p/no C00110327

Gave it a go, still got the same problem 🙁
About 20 seconds after being switched on red door lock led flashes rapidly, the easy iron led flashes slowly and the dryer components spring into life even without pressing the on button ❗ It looks like an electronics problem to me, unless any one knows different.
Partfinder lists the EEPROM and pcb seperately so presumably I will need both parts and the EEPROM removal tool to complete the repair. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

KeymasterPlease tell in right order which LED’s are flashing:
Phase Led(spinning)=Key1=Key2=Key3=Key4
x 1 x x x
From what you said is F01 (“easy iron”LED flashing=motor triac short circuit) is in contradiction with “Spinning program” which is working.December 17, 2006 at 1:48 am #197657Alan1476

HI there
Had this problem in the past. First megger all components seperatly any earth leakage will give you a fault like that. Secondly check for continuity between pressure switch and pcb also tighten the duitones on the module and check the wires on the heater, Give them a firm tug what normaly happens is the cables look fine but break down inside. If a remember correctly they are brown and black (black one normaly breaks). If after all that I looks like a module fault. Note sometimes you can unsolder the EEPROM Be carefull?? And put it in the new module. Otherwise you have to buy a new one of have a blank one re written by a hotpoint indesit enginner.
Hope to have been some help
