indesit WIDL 146

I have an Indesit WIDL 146 washer/dryer, drying can be set by either time or how dry you want the items (ie between 40 – 150 mins or ready to iron/hang/put away)

It does not tell me what temp I am drying at, nothing in the manual and the Indesit websit is no help. A bit concerned about putting things in that should be dryed on a low temp. Does anyone know how these drying times relate to the garment labels?

There’s nothing in any of the tech info either, Lu. The safety shut off on the dryer section trips at about 180c, so the drying temperature will be at least 15-20c below that. Beyond that, can’t tell you too much. It may be reasonable to deduce that the “damper” programmes use a lower temperature, but there is no way to be sure.

If you dry articles on the synthetic cycles they are dried 30″C lower than the cotton cycle also the when using various other optins ie cupboard dry etc this is controlled be the dry thermistor and wash thermistor to determine how dry the load is i hope this helps.
