indesit widl 146 lights on

hi all lights on except extra rinse and spin speed it wont respond to any buttons wont power off, i changed the main control board for one from emw, when i rang them they suggested the front panel was faulty, has anyone had this prob or can you suggest what it may be thanks john

Could be the on/off tactile switch playing up on fascia board. Solder in a new tactile switch if you have one or desolder one of the unused option switches and use that if pressed for time.

Sorry, not done many. Sure it’s intuitive, plastic clips etc., maybe the odd screw.
