    Hi

I’ve got a problem with my washer/dryer and have looked at the others described on this forum but can’t find the same problem already.

Put a wash on last night on no.9 program at 60 degrees which is listed at taking 65 minutes. We usually do it overnight (economy 7) but we needed some stuff doing urgent which was fortunate as it would have been going all night. As it was I went out to the bathroom where it is and noticed that it was still on the wash part of the cycle and was still pretty soapy. I stopped the cycle and then set a rinse cycle. I went off to do something else and forgot about it. Went back about an 45 mins later (I think – it was late) and it was still going. I stopped it and took the stuff out but I couldn’t really tell if it had actually cleaned (chef whites which sometimes take another wash). Anyway tried washing a few of the bits again this morning on a 30 minute wash and kep-t going back to check but it justlooked like the drum was full of suds and I repeated the above process. So basically it looked like its geting stuck on whichever it’s started on.

I have not got a clue about this kind of stuff. Oh and I’m 6 months out of the warranty 🙁 I’ve looked through the troubleshooter with the manual and no answers there.

Any advice before I have to get an engineer out would be greatly appreciated! Cheers

    Vicki

it sounds to me that it is not heating,
but you should also check the filter,
always remove the plug before checking.

Heater out of circuit will not bring up an error code. Check connectors to the heating element.

    Power off first, please.

cheers for your advice. I did put it on a very short cycle and it definately wasn’t heating up. Other half cleaned the filter but we’ve not looked at the heating element yet ……….

um…… where would I find it? sorry for being so dumb!

    thanks again
