indesit WIDL126 flashing LED’s

Hello, i have in indesit washer/dryer WIDL126. I have led’s flashing on the door lock, delay timer and easy iron. i have called indesit and i now have to wait nearly 2 weeks for an engineer to come and have a look (under warranty). Any ideas from anyone of what it could be?? i have been told on the phone that it is a comms error between boards, but we all know what telephonists are like????

Counting from left to right, which lights are those please (lamp1,2 etc)

In that case the telephonist was correct 😉

Waiting for the engineer is the only option I’m afraid as long as you’ve done all the usual checks from the trouble shooting section in the handbook.

i’ve cleaned the filter out at the bottom and nothing happenned. i left it turned off for a bit and last night the missis turned it on and pressed the reset button and it now works ??!!

wierd?!

would it be worth the engineer having a look anyway?

I have the same washer dryer and it has just gone faulty.

Im not happy that it was delivered on the 19th March 2005 and it has gone faulty today, but that is bye the bye.

The Door lock led and the spin led is flashing, that is led 4 if couting from the left hand side, any idea what this indicates?

Motor control problem I’m afraid, normally a PCB fault 🙁

You won’t, even we can’t get them.

Power off if investigating further :zap:

It may be worth a rant to Indesit also as it’s only a few days out of guarantee if they won’t accomodate, check the repairs@ link below for an independent engineer 🙂

lamp 3 and (?) lamp five(door lock) flashing at me on an indesit wil 133 washer; bloody thing 3 months out of warranty gaarrrggghhh!!!! anybody any clue what this means?

also, maybe an idea if some kind chappy could post as to what all the codes mean (if such eldritch information should be known) and making it a sticky?!?!?!?!
