Indesit WIDL126 Flashing Lights

Hi

I have looked in my manual and googled but don’t know what the following error indicates.

When I switch on my Indesit WIDL126 it will start to try what I want it to do and then it stops and I get the 2nd (Easy Iron), the fourth ( 1200-600) and the Padlock lights all flashing.

Does anyone know what this means?

“Pressure switch stuck on full”. It thinks it’s already full of water when it shoudn’t be. You need to check that the pressure switch clicks over when pressurised and that the air bell at the other end of the skinny air hose isn’t full of muck and goo. PCB failure is also a distinct possiblity, this being an Indesit and all.

Power off if you intend to investigate this yourself.
