Indesit WIDL126 not turning on but lights flash

Hi all,

I was hoping for some help with an Indesit washer dryer that we have inherited. Basically, I tried putting on a drying cycle this morning, but the appliance just shut down (all lights switched off, door unlocked).

Now, when I try to turn it on, the lights flash when I flick the power on at the plug, but the front “On” switch doesn’t turn it on. I’ve left it off at the plug for a few hours, but we’re still getting the same problem.

Any suggestions?

Has it ever worked since you took possession of this machine? Been left outdoors for a period? Transported on its side has it?

It’s been working for the past 3 months, and was in the flat when we started renting. I doubt it’s been moved since purchase.

Is the plug/ socket connection OK? Have you tried it in another power outlet?

Hi, I have had the same problem. When I turn on the plug socket, the lights flash once and then powers off. There is clearly power getting to it but will not stay on.

I can’t find any solution and need some help please?
