This machine looks like its going into fault mode, flahing of crease guard light, iv checked every componant, also checked brushes, checked valves, heater, thermistor, and also removed board for dry joints etc,
nothing apparent? also the drum will turn briefly but then goes into fault mode, so all componants seem ok, it fills drains, drum turns etc.

eprom? or could it be a sticking relay?

thanks in advance to anyone with any ideas,

Thanks for reply this machine is out in the sticks so will be going back out to see it shortly, the machine does turn the drum for a while first before going into fault mode so whats likley to be be the actual problem the tacho on motor? loose magnet or wiring? the tacho isent avaliable as a part for these motors if i remember?

Also check that the wires to the heater haven’t partially broken at the crimp terminals leaving just a few strands in place. The electronics picks up the high resistance when this happens.
