This 18 month old is bringing up f15 which i understand to be a fault with the dryer heater relay however the dryer element is open circuit.
The customer informs me that her clothes came out of the dryer wet last week but the washer continued to work for aday or so.
The heater box arragement on this seems different to the ones i usually work on element being neither the spiral type or the L shaped double one with the bracket that comes loose and in my experience a faulty (open) element does’nt bring up F15.
my problem is this, do i try an element on it (which may not be easy to get hold of) or direct the customer to indesit under the 5 yr parts warrenty? 😕

Getting back to the fault could F15 be generated by an open circuit dryer element ?

I understood F14 was the code for faulty dryer element on this one ?
