Indesit WIDXL 146 Washer Dryer Problem

Hi,

We have an Indesit Washer Dryer that has recently started giving us some issues.
It has been making what i can only describe as a popping sound intermittently when it is going, both on dryer and washing mode. It also sometimes then stops all together with the door light and the easy iron and easy rinse lights flashing. If you turn the machine off then back on again, the lights all go and you can “attempt” to restart the cycle again, we have usually managed this in the last week but the last couple of days its been more frequent and not always restarting. If you move the drum by hand it makes no noise whatsoever.
Would anyone have any idea as to the source of this popping noise and also what the lights mean?..havent had it that long , only about 18 months.

u might wanna clean the pump and filter chamber, and take that coin out!!

Hi, thanks for the tip. I have took the pump and pipes off it and found a couple of coins.. I then put it all back together but it still fails to work..no popping noise now, but it seems it just starts letting the water in then stops…..then starts and then stops….each time for a few seconds…and if you leave it long enough those same lights as before will start flashing..any more ideas?

ok, left to right,with the 1st light being 1

which ones are flashing ( i.e 1and 5 or 2 and 4)

then we can give u an answer

from left to right the only lights i have are

Delay Timer
Easy Iron
Extra Rinse
1400-600
Door lock light

Easy Iron and Extra Rinse flash as well as the door lock light flashing quicker than these 2

so 2 & 3 Green lights flash about twice a second
and 5 red door lock light flashes at about 4 times a second

strangely, thats f6

and, according to indesit, that fault doesnt exist

although they know about it

given the fact that its an arcadia machine, would suggest a faulty pcb… could it have got wet?

worth making sure the pcb connections are tight…

I suppose its possible that when i tipped it on its side to get to the pump etc underneath that water could have splashed on it?…as i had enough on the floor…would it be worth just letting it dryout overnight now?
