    My machine has stopped working. Basically the little red door lock icon is not lighting up . I hear the water begin to flow into the soap tray and then it stops. Bought a new door interlock but no joy. The display then says “door”. No matter how firmly or gently I close the door still no joy. Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks.

    Check the motor carbon brushes.
