Hi there
saw a post recently about non genuine hotpoint elements with a poor seal,well just had the above indesit (less than 3 years old) with water pouring out from around element .Checked the element to tighten it as there was definate play on element and found seal was of the type with no shoulder on ,this is a original fitted element so obviously Indesit do fit this type of element as new standard .
Water been pouring out over a few days so motor connections also slightly corroded as well, will fit new element and see if any better fit.
