Indesit WIE1575 – DEND in display

I have looked through the Known Fault Codes but cant find this one,
customer reports that the machine was ‘stuck’ on the last minute of the program, so she switched the machine off and removed her washing. Now when she switches the machine on the door locks drum rotates and DEND appears in the display.

Does this machine just need resetting? or are there darker forces at work here? 😯

The display would normally show DOOR is door wasn’t latched and END when the programme finishes. So you seem to have the best of both worlds with this one. 😈

Lets hope it doesn’t mean DEAD END 😕

🙂 Aaaaah could well be Jim, I’m going to this one on saturday morning, so I’ll try those reset procedures.

😀 Called to this one this morning and reset the machine as suggested, turned out the customer had put it into demo when she was trying to cancel the program.
