    So today my washing machine got stuck on the wash cycle which I think lasted about 6 hours and I had to manually reset it. After that most of programmes simply put in water and do nothing. The one program that does something is #1 which does a prewash. It does the prewash as expected and then pauses once it gets to the wash cycle. main functions: spin drain work as expected. rinse doesn’t seem to put in any water though.

    Check the heating element for starters.

    Ok, In the end I found out it was one of the water inlet valves. I switched the pre-wash with the wash one and now it’s functioning normally. We don’t use the pre-wash settings anyway.
