Hi Appreciate this topic has been gone over before, but i have followed previous threads to try and resolve:

I tryu and put a wash/program on, druim half filled with water and then stopped will error lights: 1,3+4 flashing and door lock flashing, so from previous threads have deduced is drainage/pump issue.

I removed kick plate and actually had to take the pump out as couldnt get the drainage plug out as was jammed by numerous objects: 20p piece, hair clips, so i cleaned both channels, and refitted.

And same issue again, does this mean that is drianage issue higher up the system? this wouldnt make sense as i have been able to drain it manually.

I figured that pump probably knackered and need to get a new one, simple enough as have seen them on website and i assume literally just buy new one and plug and play.

Appreciate all the help in advance.

    Cheers

Hi: It’s quite possible that your outlet pump has been damaged by the blockage you described & the error codes are normally pretty accurate. However the fault shown could also be due to bad connections to the Power PCB in the rear bottom Right of the machine (Looking from the front)broken wiring or indeed the PCB itself going faulty. You would be best advised to check the wiring & connections from the pump to PCB first before buying a pump, the wiring from the pump to PCB can be easily checked for continuity with a Multimeter set to it’s lowest ohms range.

Specialist thanks for your post above, unfortunately as i wasnt going to be home for a few days i ordered a new pump anyway in the hope a new pump would be all thats required.

Unfortunately from fitting the new pump this evening it is still not working, i have optically checked the connections which seem ok, problem being i dont have a multimeter so need to go and buy one tomorrow to test it.

If PCB is knackered what would you suggest? as i dont want to keep throwing money and time at the problem if you think better off just scrapping it and getting a new one washing machine.

also as a result of buying a new pump i have another one for sale if anyone wants it 🙂

    thanks again
