Indesit WIL103 – Will not pass through first wash cycle.

Hi,
The problem is that it will not proceed from the cycle wash, it just keeps washing indefinitely, it does not rinse and spin on this setting anymore. The only way to get it to rinse and spin dry is to set it to this program, it then rinses and spins dry ok.

I have noticed that the water does not heat up, I have checked the element and it reads o/c, would this stop this washer from running the full wash?

I am a tv engineer and don’t repair washers, but this is my own machine.

Hi, That reading would indicate that your heater is not going to work! The appliance will wait for the water to reach a certain temp before advancing to rinse and spin. You will need to buy a new heater, follow the link below:

Please take into consideration, if the heater isn’t fitted correctly, you will end up with a wet floor, at the very least :cry:.
If in doubt, use a repairs@ engineer to fit it for you.
