It depends on whether there’s someone around and has time to, can answer the post. 😉

I’d use either silicon sealant or debor to seal it up as either can be easily “broken” when or if it ever needs to come back out.

Indesit WIL133 banging when spinning fast

ref above i replaced the heating element which fixed things

sligh dent in back on drum from levering old one out (was hard)

new one keeps leaking water a bit – got stacks of that washing maching sealant around it but still makes it out – not a lot

but when fast spinning bangs loud

took the back panel off

still repeated banging and can’t work out where from or why

moved the belt around etc…

the tub itself has a bracket into which the heater slots into

you wont have put it in correctly

you mean that is the noise?
would explain the leak then if being beaten around..?
