Moderatorgot a faulty module on this Indesit WIL133 uk(TEV) washing machine, ordered new module C00143056 and eeprom C00194074 from Indesit as per info on the latest partfinder disc only to be informed that the pcb was now obsolete and no alternative was sent(although helpfully they still supplied the eeprom!)
An enquiry to connect confirmed that the new part number as C00254297 which was ordered but on inspection has no socket for the eeprom. An enquiry to Indesit said that it was already programmed, no eeprom required……of course I fitted it and it now has all the symptoms of an unprogrammed board. Have reported back to Indesit and awaitng reply.
Is this a board that requires the smart card to programme? If so where is the part number for the card?
Indesit, I would give up had it not been a letting agents job.October 13, 2008 at 1:06 pm #265005bzz67

AFAIK, which is very little in this instance, I thought the card came with the new board, you will however need a card reader to programme the board. not to sure but I was quoted around £100+ for the card reader. :rolls:

Participantnope.. that board directly replaces tthe c00143056, and fits a mulitude off machines, its the same as needing an eprom, effectively

Thanks Halo, and yes, I have had he card reader sitting in my van for several months now and not yet had a instance to use it yet. Would have thought this may have been mentioned on the latest partfinder or at least a slip of paper in the box telling us that.
anyone need a good old fashioned eeprom C00194074 I have one to spare!any idea how much the card is? no doubt will have to pay £5 transport cost as well. Part number not recognised on partfinder or connect.
