Indesit WIL143 – Just keeps on washing

Hi Fellas,
I got a call about this one today, customer selects and starts program, everything seems to run ok, but she reports that after 6 hours the machine is still washing. She says the only way she can get her washing done is by selecting a wash cycle and letting it run for an hour or so then cancelling program and selecting a rinse program letting that run for half an hour or so and then running a spin program. none of the programs end themselves and have to be cancelled. The machine is not generating a fault code, so I am assuming new board required. Has anyone come across this before?

Check for o/c element or broken wire at heater as this does not always generate a fault code.

had an ariston with same fault it turned out it was just syphoning worth checking waste pipe first
