Indesit WIL153 Error Lights

Hope someone can help me. My indesit WIL153 is showing flashing lights 1+2 and rapidly flashing door lock error lights.

Indesit have advised an engineer is required – can anyone suggest what is the problem so that I may avoid a call out and fit a part myself ?

lights 1+2 = F12
modules not communicating – check & refit all module conns if this does not fix fault – both pcb’s will have to be replaced plus eeprom. sometimes just pulling connections off & then refitting will cure it – remember to unplug first
