Not mine, but a couple of indesit washers that were being tested as part of my research. They both had failed bearings.

Are these a sealed tub or can the bearings be replaced? What would the cost of the parts (drum or bearings) be and how long would it take to do the job. If the machines are not economical to repair, does the motor, control board etc have any value to refurbishers. If so, how much would they be worth assuming minimum of 5 quantity?

as far as i can see the answer is yes sealed tubs

retail cost on the part shows at around £150 as a repair its a no go

as for the panel prices since the tubs go a lot i would think refurbishers would have plenty of panels but i may be wrong.
The only people who may buy the is QER as they refurbish panels
