I have had quite a thorough read through forums and not really found anything that is similar to my problem…

The washer when turned on does fill up with water but does not go any further with the wash cycle, except it just clicks slowly and then rapidly. The lights on the washer are constant (never flash). I have checked the filter at the front, to which there was nothing there.

The clicks come from the back of the washer which is where all the wires are plugged into – I believe this is the programme unit.

I have managed to drain the washer once or twice but this doesn’t always work either.

I would appreciate anyones help on this…

    Thanks

If you have read through the forum you will by now know just how well thought of these machines are in the trade. :rolls:

A trebuchet is the best way to fix it TBH. 😉

You could check for worn motor brushes or loose wiring connections but its very likely that the dodgy electronics have given out. 😥

Be sure to remove the mains plug before you remove any panels etc.

its a long shot, and i know you said clicking sounds like it comes from the rear, but its not a duff interlock or pressure switch is it? both cheap enough and common enough failures worth having to swap over to test, and still reuse later on. only mentioning this as had a aqualtis that sounded like it had tap shoes on…

Clicking from the circuit board could be a failure of the drive capacitor that powers the relays for heater & motor
