Indesit WIXL 143 Door frame.

Hi Chaps. The Indesit WIXL 143 door inner frame, does anyone know if they can be purchased seperately or is it a complete door assembly?. Seems a bit of a travesty if thats the case as the door comes apart so easily!!

Did one on an Indesit this morning, whole darned door when there was just tiny piece of plastic broken off the outer door trim. :rolls:

Along with the sealed tubs it won’t be long before you click on an Indesit parts diagram and find there is just one number. 😥

You’re not wrong there mate!!!, Espescially as just googleing WIXL 143 it comes up with a complete machine for £193. Throw away society or what?. With Indesit call out charge being bets part of £90 no doubt and complete door retail @ £35!!! New door at £125 or new machine at £195. NO BRAINER>>
Cheers anyway, figured as much!!. No doubt Hotpoint will be much the same I suppose.

is it just the bit where the pin is held in place.. i had one today, just made a hole through the back, and used a cable tie to secure the pin…

not had one back yet…

Ditto. Used a cable tie on 3 so far. seems to work well enough, i DO love trying to beat the system though 😯

The cable tie is stronger than the origional plastic.

Wet bog paper is stronger than Indesit plastic ! :rolls:
