Indesit WIXL 143S W/Machine

I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to look at one of these today.

On switching on, the interlock energises and locks the door and the wash led comes on, but not the door locked led. Machine does nowt else.

I tried a new interlock but made no difference. Are we looking at a new control board here?

No, didnt check motor. Would that cause the door lock LED to not illuminate?

It has on some of the Hpt/Ind m/c’s I’ve worked on.

Once the door locks the programme ‘self-checks’ the various internal components like heater, pump, valves and, likely as not in your case, the motor. If any are at fault the machine takes the hump and doesn’t want to play no more! 😥
