Hi hust wondered what you thought about this fault with the indesit wixl163uk
s/n 710137297

The machine is not spinning properly, it agitates ok but never gets up into the full spin. I have checked the brushes and cleared the pressure system of blockages. It worked for 1 cycle then went back to not working. I think it is the pressure switch getting stuck but just wanted a second opinion. It also brings up a fault code on a spin programme of lights 3 and 4 (left to right) which i thought was a thermister prob?

any advice will be gratefully received.

which indeed is ‘not sensing pressure switch’

now, that could be a faulty switch.or a faulty pcb

i know what my moneys on, but id first check the pcb connections where the pressure switch connects

thanks for the quick reply, i think the switch is about 12 quid anyway so will check the connections and order a switch and see what happens
