ParticipantFinally got the wall tiles that stopped it coming forward…………………….
To find it 1″ below the quarry tiles and in a corner.then
Finally got the rear L/H leg high enough to get over the tiles………….
To find nothing would budge the stupid Torx pulley nut…………
Finally got the pulley nut off with a little heat to the spider, after borrowing a blow torch (never had to resort to that in a customers house before)
Then find that the supplied bearing kit (Masterpart AR05105) doesnt fit this model. The front race and the seal are smaller than the normal on e supplied.Numbers off the bearings as far as I can see are bb1 0626 and 62042.
the numbers off the seal are either 385265 7/10 or 383265 7/10
This is after the lovely customer came out with @Well you should be experienced enough to know my machine would be hard to get out@

Bearings should be pretty standard 6206zz front and 6205zz rear. Merloni part nos 044765 and 013563 respectively. Oil seal is 082696.
Hope this helps,Dave

Are these the ones in the 074213 spider?
Masterpart are listing AR05105 bearing kit for this spider.
The front bearing and seal I require are a smaller diameter than supplied.
Is there another smaller diameter front bearing for this model or is it just the wrong bearing kit for this machine?Confused with a customer kicking off.

Hi Tony,
This machine should have the 074213 spider. I say should, doesn’t necessarilly mean it has, knowing Merloni. 🙄
Good luck,
Dave

No, the bearing supplied with the AR05105, the front bearing(large one) is the 6206 which with the seal won’t fit the spider (too large). A Hotpoint 95/ wm bearing kit fits. I just need the seal now. I think I’m on a losing one here if the complete spider won’t fit. Ah merlopeless eh (I’m not even giving them a capital letter either)! Don’t you just love ’em 👿

I am fairly sure that the shaft seal is part No: C00096186

If you have got the old seal you can find a new one by measuring up the old one: internal, external diameters and depth at shoulder and at front lip. Ring Seme customer services 01664 484002 if you don’t have their catalogue, they’ll probably help you over the phone.
Mike.
PS The dimensions are usually visible in the rubber e.g. Hotpoint 95s is 30x52x10 (int. x ext. x depth).Zanussi is 30x52x10/12 (front lip sticks out).October 21, 2005 at 5:55 pm #150759cornwell40

Indeed mine did until that nice Mr Martin114 turned up and gave me the info I need. When i checked Connections and the correct model number came up I was dubious it would be the right one (using Indesit lateral thinking there), but lo and behold on getting the seal it matched.
Thank you Mr Martin you are indeed a very nice man and you succeeded in getting a real arsehole off my case. 😀 😀 😀
