ParticipantHi, As with most newbies, i have Googled my issue and your site has come up. My dishwasher has tripped out the mcb for the kitchen tonight as it was nearing the end of a wash cycle. opened the door to check for the cause but found nothing untoward. Now just sitting with water in until daylight when I will have a look. Another site had a similar fault (dated 06) and thought the element could be the cause. So this was going to be my first check. Any other suggestions?

Well you could give us the correct model number for a start. 😉
dDVKIXUK is not a recognised model number. You wouldn’t like to hear most of our other suggestions. :rolls:
I’ll bet you would know what an Li150 was though. 🙂

The only way forward is to unplug the machine and test all components with a suitable megger or multimeter.
Your machine could have either the internal tube type element or the ‘L’ shaped element that you can see inside the tub.
Heating element is always a good place to start, access from underneath. Look for signs of leakage and water damage around the main circulation pump as well.
My first ever set of wheels was a new Li150, reg GBU622D. 1966 was a good year for another reason, can’t think what right now. 😉
it was unusal in that it had white side panels and mid blue body, plus the usual lights, mirrors, chrome crash bars etc. 😳

WOW, loads of room to work. had it running yesterday and haven’t found the fault yet. I can see where a small amount of water has previously been but cannot see the entry point. Haven’t got a megger here so just checked for earth faults and continuity. Will have to wait untill next time.
Had a 64 mk2 lambretta but sold it have still got a 1963 mk3 with all lights, mirrors, spare wheel carrier and crashbars. Also a fully chromed and moded vespa.December 7, 2010 at 11:17 am #337677iadom

Indesit dishwashers in particular a prone to oversoaping when used with combination tablets. Its better to use separate detergent, rinse aid and salt ( if required) or the Fairy Active Bursts or whatever they call them now.
