Yes ive read that but its not much help really i had a look around the pump but nothing there. So i guess the customer will have to live with it.

I think that reading that thread, taking careful note of what johhnyj in particular has posted should tell you all you need to know. There is a conductivity sensor on some machines although I think it has now been removed on later models. It is the reason for CON in the display and it doesn’t seem to have any effect on the machines performance.

All we really need to know is what the ‘official fix’ is. 😉

Now i really am confused i could not find a sensor anywhere near the pump or i would have disconected it, care to shed any more light.

No more light can be shed at this time and only the thread Iadom refers to has any conclusions so far. 😕

We all will have to as this stage…. 😉

‘some machines have one and some dont, there is a cure and it is pretty simple really’.

It was this rather cryptic reply from johnnyj that had me intrigued. 😉

If you look at the parts list for the Ariston AIB16UK it shows two parts both with the same diagram ID number of 25. strangely both are listed as different parts, one is a conducibilty [sic] sensor, the other is a conductor sensor, different part numbers as well. 😕

From my point of view conductivity sensor is that device who made translation of water hardness into one signal for electronics which modify washing water level and washing time for better results. If it is some leakage or deposits on it (or not connected) can give under or over signal. It is like carbon brush over isolated drum ring (connected to drum palettes) from dryers which tell how dryed cloths are).

Unpluging machine for 10 mins, sometimes cure if not check for dampness on module a blow with a hairdryer usualy cures.
