Hello everybody, I have posted about this before but I know a bit more now, and I think starting again from the beginning would be the best thing to do.

The machine: Indesit WIL123S (think the ‘S’ is just coz it’s silver?)

Error Code: led 1 flashing (delay timer light)

Brief description of fault: Machine starts pumping as it begins a spin as normal. Machine quits before reaching full speed and error lights flash. Pump continues until power off.

Here we go…. So the machine is able to start a program ok, but when it has drained and starts a spin, it just decides to stop and the lights start flashing. All the water has drained but the pump keeps going until you turn it off.

I have been told by the Hotpoint service Centre that this error code means the Heater Relay could be stuck, which may be due to the heater being faulty or the pressure switch.

I know for definate that the heater is working as the glass feels very hot
even when I cut off the hot water supply. The heater is switching on and off as I have had a test meter on it during a program.
I have just fitted a new pressure switch but this hasn’t helped.

I have had the pump out, and all the drainage pipes including the one with the ball in, and they are all clear. the pipe to the pressure switch is also clear.

I don’t know what else to do apart from replace the whole module but that is mega bucks, and no doubt something else will break in a few weeks!

We are running out of clean cloths and will be buying a new machine (NOT INDESIT!!!! 👿 ) tomorrow if nobody can help me 🙄

    pleeeeeeeze help you nice people!

Still the F08 fault – nominally related to the heater circuit – 19 out of 20 require board replacement.
