    Our DE 73 dishwasher intermittently comes up with the error code A13. Can anyone tell please us what this means and, if practicable, how to rectify the problem

    The soap flap is not being “fired” properly by the computer board.

    Many thanks for the speedy response. As this is an intermittent fault and only occurs very occasionally can I assume that it is more likely to be an electromechanical fault with the soap flap mechanism rather than a fault on the computer board ?

    Well, it specifies the triac, which is on the PCB. If it’s intermittent, there may be a dry/poorly soldered joint. Obviously worth checking the box for free movement of the mechanisim though.
