Indisit WIL 103

Job for tomorrow, Indisit wil103 intermitant problem on spin.
Hate these intermitant probs, any one had this before, faulty module?
any advice welcome.

Try removing the plugs from the module and clean the board connection strips. Then gently pinch each plug to tighten it and refit. These suffer from bad edge connectors resulting in intermittent faults. Also uneven wear on the brushes can cause motor and timer rapid advance faults – swap them for a trial even if they only look half worn. 😉
Check pressure bottle and pump /sump hose/ filter as well. If plumbed to the side of a sink trap, is it blocked?
If you still suspect the PCB, get one from EMW (comes complete with e’prom) straight swap! 8)

Hi John,
If you have to replace the pcb how much are you going to charge the customer? Normally the module is over £100 and then the labour is on top.and i know that indesit model is about £200.Do you think is it worth your time?

Given that EMW’s boards are £35-40 typically, the job instantly becomes much more affordable………

Hi,would not recommend replacing pcb if it did cost half the cost of a new machine, as stated above the price of the part and £35.00 labour would be a reasonable repair IMO.
