    Hi

Our 12 year old De Dietrich Induction hob went bang last night about a second after I turned on one of the rings. It tripped the electric and I could smell a small amount of burning.

Now only 2 of the 4 hobs work-we have never had a problem with it but am just wondering (considering its age) whether its worth repairing or replacing?

If the latter are Miele induction hobs rated as highly as their washing machines?

    Many thanks

Can anyone kindly comment on whether inductions hobs have an internal fuse please? Just wondering if its worth me opening the hob up to see if its anything obvious (once its turned off at the wall and fusebox)

    Thank you

Miele have never dropped their game!

Only problem is they don’t actually make the hobs or gas hob’s they are bought in and badged.

    Hi

Are they easy to open or will it be full of complicated electronics and beyond economic repair?

    Many thanks
