induction hob hum??

    Hi
    We have just installed an AEG induction hob – the big zoneless one 78001 I think. It was a Which best buy, and so far I’m really pleased with it, and quite excited (in a sad sort of a way) to have new AEG appliances!

    But one thing I wondered if anyone can put my mind at ease with… the hob has a sort of electrical hum when any zone is working.

    Is that normal?

    Yes thats normal , its the coils 😀
    Make sure also that it has been fitted according to the instructions supplied re- adequate ventilation 😉
