Don’t know why I’m getting all these induction hobs, must look at my horoscope!

Now have a customer who is saying her hob takes longer to heat up than it used to. ( A 4 plate hob).

Is there a method to test power output from an induction plate perhaps similar to a microwave power check e.g temperature rise in a given amount of water.

    Thanks

Might be easier to measure the power input and work it out from that.

Depending on amount of ferrous compond in the pots etc, will affect the performance had loads with supposed induction frielndly pots that take ages to heat up shoved an old enamelled pot on and they worked perfectlty, JJ
