ParticipantIs this really the way wages in this Trade are going ?.
Just been offered a job with a Local authority, the Job: Run the workshop in a local appliance re-cycling centre, Repairing domestic appliances for re-sale, cover in Guarantee repairs & Teach trainees appliance repair to NVQ standard.
All this for the fantastic sum of £6.19 an hour, they really can’t understand why I told them where to put the job. 😯 👿

Yep Dave you read it right 😆 insulting is’nt it ❓ gotta be honest, could’nt work with 1 of the area Managers there anyway. I only met him for about an hour & less than 5 minutes in I wanted to take him outside and thump him, Slimey supercilious pratt. 😈
Steve: It’s funny you should mention Aldi mate, my missus was looking at jobs there only yesterday 🙂
Hey Jim: It’s not even NMW any more, it’s apparently gone up to £6.31 an hour.
Guy asked me why I kept looking around while I was there, I was waiting for someone to jump out & shout You’ve been framed or something 🙂
Oi Dave: I know i’m big & ugly but there’s no need to call me a monkey 😆 😛

Ah right sorry, the site I went to when I googled NMW just said that it had been incresed to £6.34, even at that rate though I would’nt be taking it. Not looking to go work for someone else anyway, but have a friend that works for DWP & she thought it would be a good job. Guess who just got wiped off my Christmas card list ?.

From what I can gather £15.00 a week on top of their benefits, it’s supposed to ty & get people back into work.
